Schiavo autopsy

So, the Terri Schiavo autopsy results are in: she had irreverseable brain damage.

Duh.

Just to be sure, the coroner cut her skull open, extracted her brain and weighed it. It weighed roughly half as much as a normal brain.

Did we need to know that? Did anyone need to know that?

Sometimes you just don't need to perform an autopsy.
